so in all honesty i even think this is fucked up.....any ways the idea behind it is that it sort of is a representative of insanity, i have/had a crazy video to this. IT was of a gilr talking to people but she alwasy sees them as evil and not wanting her. So it goes from her saying hi to her peers and then the next scene is her shaking hands with them and they are evil looking. or one where she is combing her hair and the next is her coming her hair with a grim white face and blood everywhere. that is my general idea for it. but hte musti coulw be different it woudl be rock.

I went kind of all out on this one, I really just messed with the tools for the most part. But if you can't read it, it is my name. just really abstract and me confused with the software, which i am thoroughly confused on

Project 1

Over 3-4 days I took pictures of gammage theater. The theater means alot to me because it reperesents the performing arts which for the past seven years i was a trombone player. even for the easter day parade the marchign band would meet outside of the hall in the parking lot. It also represents my sister graduating from Barret a few years ago in that very hall.

art questions

What is art? How would you define art? Is it possible to assess and evaluate art? If so, what is good art, and conversely, how can one determine what is bad art?
Art to me is a creative way that someone releases their emotions, and humans asses art and evaluate it depending on how they view the peice if it is imoirtant or not. since good and bad art is opinion based it is in the eyes of the beholder that one can choose if art is good or not

Self Portrait

The portrait of myself was an image from the renaissance festival with a few additions on to the image. My face was replaced and comprised of several other facial features from other images. The main additions to myself are: Ryu, Subzero, Raphael from TMNT, and Raphael from soulcalibur. Each one of the characters represent a videogame i was addicted to for a time, but mostly it reminds me of the times i spent with my brother. Also for the fact that 2 of the characters share my 2nd name, which is what i mostly go by. I also put red eyes on my picture to represent that all of us have a good vs evil battle every day in ourselves.

The fire in the background represents the flames of the Phoenix, because part of life is a cycle of renewal and change. The fire also represents the fires of friendship that will always keep on burning. Also it is entwined with my taberd in the sense that, it also doubles as my costume for a weekly even i go to called Dagorhir, in which our symbol is a fire bird. It also entails with my name in the event Seraph, in which the characters story is basically a fallen angle seeking redemption. And finally the trombone in the corner it represents the fact that i love all arts including music, including playing the trombone.
